I've managed to get a Nuclear Glow that will cloud around the hound throughout the animation. It can be reduced or increased.

I've narrowed the design for the voice disc down to this.It has an animated segmented system that moves it to face the person who wants to use it. So when they wave, it will wake and move towards them (on the backdrop). I wondered about putting a retro red ball on an antenna, but then thought it might be too daft.

I've eliminated colour on the whole, but I've incorporated some very muted colours (like the blue in the voice disc above) as a kind of variation in the sea of grey. I can easily get rid of it if you prefer.

These earlier variations might be useful for different locations. I figured that the Montag' residence might not have the same model of voice disc as the fire station

The Hound has 2 limbs that come out of the front to grab prey. If you prefer I can make them into regular legs. the legs here may not be the legs in the final result

This hound is rendered in brushed steel. I can do a more drawn style if this is too incongruous. I'm animating the close up of the mouth now.

I thought I would put this in the technical office at the station.

This strikes me as encapsulating the essence of the design theme so I'd like to use it somewhere.

It occurred to me that books bring illicit colour into the world. Like the living book outlaws in the forest.
I've made an icon that's a bit like a tree with some wallpaper that's rather like tree rings. The rest of Mrs Hudson's house would be regulation black and white.
